South Audley Street

Mayfair

Situated prominently on the corner of South Audley Street and Aldford Street in the heart of Mayfair, this project involves the comprehensive refurbishment and renovation of a distinguished pied-à-terre in one of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods. Originally rebuilt between 1891 and 1900, 64 South Audley Street was designed by the noted architectural firm Thomas Chatfeild Clarke & Son, reflecting the red-brick Queen Anne revival style that was emblematic of the Grosvenor Estate’s architectural identity in the late 19th century.

As part of the renovation, the apartment has been thoughtfully reconfigured to enhance spatial flow, functionality, and comfort while respecting the historic character of the building. The updated layout makes more efficient use of the space, creating a refined and contemporary living environment within a period framework.

Traditional architectural features have been re-instated, including detailed cornices, sash windows, and panelled doors. These period elements have been complemented by high-quality finishes and classical interior design touches, bringing together old-world charm and modern sophistication in a seamless and elegant way. The result is a beautifully balanced home that honours its architectural heritage while offering the luxury and convenience expected of a modern Mayfair residence.
